Elizabeth Wickland is an artist, writer, and poet based in Bozeman, MT. She is a regular contributor at the Black Barn Online, a community centered around the belief that healthy communities are fertile soil for spiritual formation and artistic creation and that listening to God, to one another, and to works of art in all their many forms are skills that can and should be practiced together. Elizabeth has been writing Borrowed Words as a weekly conversation around poetry since April 2023.

Having written poetry for most of her life, Elizabeth has had a number of poems and artwork included in print and digital journals. Publications of note include Calla Press Literary Journal, The Way Back to Ourselves, The Rabbit Room Poetry Substack, The Unmooring, Bella Grace Magazine, and I’ve Got A Bad Case of Poetry (Bandersnatch Books). Her Borrowed Words book is forthcoming from Square Halo Books in Spring 2027.

In addition to poetry, writing, and art, Elizabeth facilitates retreats and workshops around spiritual formation and the arts. She is a regular presenter and founding member of Fieldmoot, an online conference at the intersection of faith and the arts, as well as host of The Goodness Tea and Poetry at the Square Halo Conference in Lancaster, PA.
